Technology Classroom Guides

There are over 250 University Technology Classrooms "online." In addition, there are several other departmental Technology Classrooms and Computer Labs with similiar equipment. An attempt has been made to ensure that each classroom is as consistent as possible in respect to the installed equipment. However, as technology evolves, so does the equipment in the classrooms. Therefore, the exact configuration of each classroom may vary and specific documentation is provided for each.

To learn more about the type of equipment you will find in the Technology Classroom, click here.

An excellent source for detailed information about all university classrooms may be found at the Office of Planning and Budgets' University Instructional Space website.

Crestron Touch Panel Rooms

Several technology classrooms have been updated with touch-panel control systems. These systems alleviate the need for multiple remote controls in the room, and provide the end-user with a "tech-friendly" user interface. An updated "Quick Reference Guide" for these rooms will be available prior to the beginning of classes. We believe you will find these systems both efficient and convenient to use.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Additional rooms will be coming "online" throughout each academic year. Please check back here for updated information.

Combination VCR/DVD Players

All technology classrooms have been upgraded to a combination VCR/DVD player. This will provide the user an easy-to-use option for DVD playback in the classroom. Basic instructions on using the VCR/DVD Player are located here.

View the complete user manual for the VCR/DVD player (Requires Adobe Reader).

Monitors

All systems have been upgraded to LCD flat-screen monitors with built-in USB ports. This will enable users to connect Jump/Flash Drives and other USB devices simply and efficiently. The USB ports are located on the left lower side of the monitors.
